Thank you all for joining me for #MissLangPresents. As we all bear witness to the birthing of this new world, I invite us to sit with our labor pains as we excavate our own souls and digest what is required of us now. 2020 demands all of us to stand in our individual and collective power to shift into a more harmonious and just way of living.
I’m taking this space to share some of the brightest and most forward thinkers and creators of our time. In an effort to catapult us into more action, less cyclical dialogue, and a true understanding of how we all contribute to the violence of this world.
I have spent the better part of a decade advocating for Black Transgender People and a question that has carried from the kitchen table to conferences, to board meetings is, “what can we do?” My answer, in the words of dearest @IyanlaVanzant quite plainly is “DO YOUR WORK.”
I do hope this week helps you to do just that. Thank you and stay tuned! - Aaryn Lang (@aarynnlang)
